Billing & account

Orena Cloud bills monthly in arrears. At the start of each month we calculate your usage from the previous month and charge your saved payment method. You can view a detailed breakdown in the Billing section of your dashboard.

We accept M-Pesa, Visa/Mastercard debit and credit cards, and bank transfer (for annual enterprise contracts). Prices are in KES.

Yes. VAT-compliant invoices are generated automatically each billing cycle and are available to download from your dashboard under Billing → Invoices. Contact billing@orenacloud.com if you need a custom PO number or additional fields.

You can delete any resource from the dashboard at any time. Billing stops at the end of the current billing period for monthly services, or immediately for hourly resources. There are no cancellation fees.

Technical & services

All data is stored in our data centre located in Nairobi, Kenya. It does not leave Kenya unless you explicitly configure cross-region replication to a partner region. We do not process your data on infrastructure outside Kenya without your written consent.

We guarantee 99.99% monthly uptime for all Compute, Database, and Storage services. If we fall below this threshold, you are entitled to service credits as outlined in our SLA policy. View the full SLA at orenacloud.com/legal/sla.

Yes. Managed Databases include automatic daily backups retained for 7 days (Starter) or 30 days (Pro/Enterprise). Compute instances support on-demand and scheduled snapshots. Object Storage data is replicated across 3 independent nodes by default.

API keys are generated from your dashboard under Account → API Keys. Our REST API and CLI documentation is available at docs.orenacloud.com. All API calls are authenticated via Bearer tokens and rate-limited per account tier.
