All services are billed monthly at the start of each billing cycle. You are charged for the resources provisioned, not just what you use. If you delete a resource mid-month, you are charged only for the days it was active — prorated to the day.
Yes. M-Pesa is a first-class payment method on Orena — not an afterthought. You can set up recurring M-Pesa billing from your account dashboard. Airtel Money, Paystack, Visa, Mastercard, and bank transfer are also accepted.
Traffic between Orena services within the same region (ke-nairobi-1) is always free. Outbound bandwidth to the internet includes a generous free allowance (1 TB/mo for VMs) and is charged at KES 4.50/GB beyond that. There are no surprise egress fees for internal communication.
The prices shown on this page exclude VAT. Kenya VAT at 16% is applied to your monthly invoice. Your full invoice including VAT is available in the billing section of the console.
For hosting plans, you will receive an email alert at 80% usage. You can upgrade your plan at any time from the console. Compute and database resources are not hard-limited — additional usage is billed at the per-GB or per-hour rates shown in the rate cards above.
Yes. There are no lock-in periods or cancellation fees on any Orena service. Delete a resource from the console and billing stops immediately. You will receive a prorated credit for any unused days in your current billing cycle.
Annual pre-payment gives a 15% discount across all services. Contact hello@orenacloud.com to set up an annual billing arrangement. Volume discounts for 10+ VMs or large storage commitments are also available on request.
